NVC Processing

Good day! My mother filed a petition under F1 visa (unmarried sons and daughters above 21 y.o.). NVC sent both of us (ny mother and I) letter informing that case number is available for 1 year now,but we did not receive any letter since then. NVC informed us to comply the processing until july 2016.i have my visa case number now. We were told to inform NVC if we still want to continue the process. What's the next step?are we still on the rigth track? thank you.

Inform NVC that you wanted to Continue the process. Case number available is different from Visa number is available OR your case is now current.

the letter goes this way, "....this letter shall serve as your notification that a visa numberis currently available. Failure to pursue your visa application by complying with the instructions below will commence proceedings to terminate your immigrant visa application 1 year from the date if this letter."

the letter dated July 6, 2015.. any inputs?

although we're still in the process of complying requirements needed.will this delay the process?or not as long as i informed them about intention to continue my application? the letter was sent last july 2015. i received it 1 week ago.

Just continue to gather your requirements and follow the instruction given to you. You are good to go and if you can complete all the requirements, do medical and interview, you can be in the states in about 6 months granting no problems with your Medial. Good luck!

i think my mother filed a petition last 2010.i received the letter last just this october.NVC informed me that per record, i was not able to contact them regarding my status.so they sent me a letter informing to take.necessary steps to process my application before the July 2016 otherwise,my application will be terminated.
