do not hold your breath my wife went to the Philippines for my stepdaughters interview, they requested proof of medical records of birth which i thought was strange due to they had her birth cert. so we got them , and i flew over thinking i could just take them in. Nope can not do had to send through 2go 2 weeks ago and all we hear is it can take 60 days what a process no wonder why so many people in america come here illegally and never try to just do things right its so much easier to be illegal. The whole process was extremly fast except for this administrative processing.

Best of luck but again they state if in administrative processing it can be 60 days

Your NBI must show all name ever used so they require the NBI include all AKA's. That is an Embassy requirement. If you don't have all AKA's searched then you need to request another NBI. BTW for others, the NBI cannot me older than 6 months at the time of the interview.

Thanks! Actually ive already got the answer after i posted here. It's somehow clear to me.

I have a pending NBI application (ive got hit) and i didnt include any name on the AKA part since my full maiden name and my HUSBAND's surname will appear on the green form. I never used other name other than my maiden and married name so i think there will be no problem.

Thank u greenbaum!

If you used your maiden name and your married name for your NBI then you are good to go as you have met the requirement. Good luck.

POLICE REPORT: Applicants aged 16 years and older must have a valid Record Clearance for Travel Abroad Purposes from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Clearances should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name and any aliases or nicknames used, including different spellings you have used of those names. An official letter of explanation from the NBI is required for any notation of “No criminal record” or "No pending case”. For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is valid for one (1) year from the date it was issued. The NBI website is http://www.nbi.gov.ph.

We got married in the US and by the time of my interview, I haven't reported our marriage yet. I still got an NBI clearance with the aka of my married name. The people at NBI gave me some grief about it but I insisted that they do it and they did. The clearance we submitted to NVC didnt have the aka and the document checker at the embassy asked for the one with the aka. Good thing I went and got that before the interview.

On the form, there's an aka field, just write down other names you've used. In my case, I used my married name as the aka.
