I am US Citizen. My fiance is Moroccan Citizen. We are doing K1 (fiancee) visa.

Thus far:

NOA2 Accepted August 3rd 2015

Case in Casablanca Morocc US embassy September 5th 2015: I confirmed this via my case number, and also calling NVC center in new hampshire.

Since September 5th 2015: Nothing. No response from the US embassy. Zero. Nothing to my Fiancee or myself. I call the US embassy. I email the US embassy. No response. I have yet to speak to a human being from that Consulate. Upon review of other K1 applicants in Morocco I have found others who have had their Case reach the embassy after me and yet they already have there interview and visa IN HAND. How is that possible?

What to do:?

Any advice?

Search the threads on your country's forum. You can track your case here https://ceac.state.gov/ceac for a start then check your US embassy website for information on how they proceed with packet 3 & 4, embassy procedures around the world differs as some communicate with the fiance, others don't. There are documents you need to collect for medical/interview. Good luck.

Casablanca is having a backup of delays . With holidays these pass weeks and moroccon and American holidays . And for a few days the system to process visa in Casablanca has been down . They tend to only answer emails that they feel are really important or ready to process . Just keep being persistent. I had to email them 3 times before getting my package and they only replied back to the last email . They will tell you they are only processing cases in the order they are received .

Thanks for reply. I don't how process works, but obviously they are not processed in the order they are received. In your timeline it was received 9/16 and you got interview 10/14 yet mine was received 9/5 and we have yet to even get packet or any reply.

I am traveling to Morocco in December and was hoping to return to the US with my fiancee but things are looking grim.

I will continue with daily emails and phone calls. Thanks for sharing your experience.
