London Medical and DS-10

Hi guys,

Quick question.

I contacted NVC and got my LND case number 4 weeks after TSC approval. I've booked my medical for 22nd but just seen I am supposed to have some type of confirmation from the embassy for this. I have everything else (police cert, vaccination records etc). Is this essential or can I just quote the case number to them on the day?

One final question, can I submit the DS-10 and readiness form now, before the embassy receives the case? Anxious to get everything moving as supposed to be getting married Dec 12th.

Help much appreciated.

Cheers

Tom & Kaley

No worries, you should be good to go on that one... as long as the beneficiary electronically signs it and submits it in England you should be OK.

I dont know how London embassy works but from what I read so far. You need to wait till the embassy update your case to "Ready". So from here on, you can proceed everything without P3. Sr if I might be wrong.

USCIS:

2016-04-16: Filed I-129F

2016-04-18: USPS tracking shows package as delivered

2016-04-20: NOA1 E-mail received. Routed to CSC for processing.

2016-07-13: NOA2 App Notification. (84 days)

2016-07-19: NOA2 Hard Copy Rec'd

NVC:

2016-07-28: NVC case received

2016-07-29: NVC case #

2016-08-02: NVC left to Embassy (In Transit)

Embassy:

2016-08-04: Case is "READY"

2016-09-07: Medical exam

2016-09-12: Interview (APPROVED)

2016-10-01: JFK POE (Ticket booked)

Your letter of from London will give you the following link to your K1 instructions. I would suggest following that over other things that have been posted to you. http://london.usembassy.gov/iv/fiance_instructions.html

Until your case shows up as "ready" on the CEAC search, it would be best not to submit your applications. Getting ahead of London Immigrant Visa Unit may actually slow you down. Print that CEAC status off and Knightsbridge will accept that in lieu of the letter from London.

You can look at this link in the UK forum to see how long after the medical people have had their interview day. You will notice it varies. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/549078-medical-to-interview-date-how-long-2015-data/?p=7830759

And this thread shows how long it has taken to get the visa delivered once approved at the interview. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/550974-interview-date-to-visa-in-hand-how-long-2015-data/?p=7851525
