I am a mid Dec. filer and have my EAD already but just want to get an idea for interview notice timeframe. it seems like interview notices go out at many varied times (some get month after filing and some 2-3 months after filing). I had an rfe on my 485 which resumed processing 1/23/07. I am noticing a lot of Dec. filers have interviews in March (these were w/o rfes). do you think my interview notice is delayed because of the rfe? I realize there's still a few weeks before USCIS gets to 1/23 files, but just wanted your opinions as to when you think an interview notice should be coming and when I should start to call regarding the interview notice. thanks

recv'd welcome letter 2/9/08

recv'd GC 2/12/08

petition to remove conditions I751 filed Nov 5 / 09

received NOA and extension of conditional card for 1 year Nov 11/09

biometrics appt Dec 11/09

You need to be patient. In spite of what interview dates others are getting there is no guarantee yours will come as quickly. Generally when you call they will not take action on your case until you are 6 months past your filing date. This was the case with our petition. Of course an RFE will slow your case too. Check the current processing times for your local office as a starting point. Good luck.
