Hi Everyone,

I was recently engaged and I am just beginning this K-1 process. I'm very worried about my financial situation. I just finished college, but I have had a job for the last two years as an intern. I'm currently looking for a new job but as of now I make $15 an hour as an intern and when I filed my 2006 tax return i had an adjusted gross income of a little over $27,000. I also have $11,000 saved in my bank account. I know it is not much, but is it enough to sponser my fiancee later on in the process. Thanks so much.

That's definately enough to sponsor two people. Do a search for poverty guidelines for 2007, it should show you the exact amount. Doesn't sound like you have any worries though. :)
