I-129F question 36a and 36b, China embassy

Okay, so I think I made a stupid mistake..

As I was browsing through forums and websites, I came across CEAC's website where we can check case status. I just realized that there is an embassy in my fiance's city which is Chengdu, but in my I-129F question 36a and 36b, where it asks which city and country the fiance will apply for a visa abroad at, I put Guangzhou.....

So.. is it for sure he has to travel to Guangzhou or maybe they will route it to Chengdu since he lives there?....

08/16/2016 - EAD card is being produced (received text message update)

08/20/2016 - Received EAD & AP Combo card, also EAD&AP approval notice.

08/22/2016 - AOS status changed to "Card is being produced" and 5 hours later "Case Was Approved" !!!

08/25/2016 - AOS status "Card Was Mailed To Me"

08/27/2016 - Received green card in the mail!!!

07/06/2018 - Biometric done (walked in)

07/11/2018 - Scheduled Bio Appointment Date

08/13/2018 - 18 months NOA received, dated 8/6/18

08/22/2018 - GC Expires

05/23/2019 - New Card is being produced! (11 months 1 week 3 days since receipt date)

05/30/2019 - Card Was Delivered

05/24/2019 - Earliest Accepted Filing Date for N-400.

08/30/2022 - Filed N-400 online, eligibility basis = GC holder > 5 years.

I just did some more searching/reading...

Some VJer stated that Guangzhou is the only consulate in China that processes K1, so it doesn't really matter if we put Beijing, Shanghai or Chengdu, is this still true? The reply I found was from 2013.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

I put Beijing on our I 129-F since that was the closest embassy to my fiancee. Our case was still routed to Guangzhou. Your application should be okay.
