NVC Expedite

Hoping maybe someone can give some advice.

We submitted our documents to the NVC on September 7th by Email (Electronic processing).

After calling at least every week where they told me everything was fine, that they can't see emails right away but that if I didn't get a bounce they should get it and I will be fine, they finally told me last week (October 9th) that it doesn't look like they have them at that point I needed to resubmit. They also said that they put me on a list for a supervisor to look at my case and for the old emails. And that when I resubmit they should process it faster. And that it should take a supervisor about 7 days to look.

We emailed the two emails again on October 11th. We got an email on October 16th that they had received them October 12th and to wait 30 days. I called on October 16th and asked them what was going on. They guy I spoke to basically said we needed to wait 30 days from the 12th and that their is nothing to do. My original request is on supervisor review and that can take 42 days. So by resubmitting I am actually saving time he tells me (30 days not 42 days...yeah okay). I tried to point out that I already wasted 30+ days waiting for them when they lost the email and kept telling me it was fine.

I wanted to know if maybe we should be submitting for an expedite. Is there any chance that we might get one based on them losing our original email submission? Or could it just make things take longer waiting for the consulate in Montreal to decided if they expedite?

Or any other advice? Should I call at a certain time of day and ask to talk to a supervisor? All the guy kept saying to me on Friday was "there is nothing else you can do, you have your bases covered. It is with a higher power"....so yeah.

Yeah, they told us that supervisor review was 45 days but usually done within two weeks. That was 120 days ago and we still haven't heard from them. Supervisor review is a lottery you don't want to participate in...

I doubt they'll expedite your case when you're still within the regular timeframe. Normally, an expedite is only given for life or death situations, but they do give them sometimes when your case has gone way beyond the usual waiting times. We tried getting our case expedited from the embassy a couple of months ago, when our case had been on supervisor review for 60 days, but were denied.

At this point, I think the best you can do is wait for them to review your documents within the NVC timeframe and if they haven't reviewed your case by November 12th, then take further action.

They are still telling me that my case is backlogged creating the electronic file. So I basically have a case complete, but they still need to scan in my USCIS documents and make an electronic file.

Agent on Friday told me that I can submit an expedite request. Another agent I spoke to today, says I can submit a request. But that submitting a request can take 45 days to process and for that time my case basically stops and if I were to wait now, it could be shorter.

Does anyone have any advice on if submitting an expedite would be a good idea or not? I mean if they even approve it based on them losing things. But I wouldn't want it to take longer. You can tell the whole process is messed up when submitting an expedite request can actually take longer.

in your place I would write the application acceleration, it does not delay your application rather progress if you have a positive response. It takes around five days to respond .... go there

Ok, thank you for the advice. I am just concerned because the agent on the phone made it seem like it could delay us by another 45 days as all processing on the case will stop until they received a reply. But NVC agents don't always know what to say.

Agents do not know everything, it is best to talk to a supervisor. I read the case of someone who once approved the CNV in soumisson DS260 and requested expedite his case and it was approved by cons should complement the rest of documents to the interview. suddenly his record navait duration than four months. In your case just the mistake of NVC, then I encourage then I encourage you to expedite.
