Perhaps that is what happened in NY, but this time around god decided this teenager should die and his brother should live with the physical and emotional scars? Perhaps the parents were acting according to god's will this time around...

In that case, who are we to meddle with the religious freedom of these loving christians, who are just practicing their faith as their holy book tells them to?

Seems like a cult more than a church being they closed themselves off from society and even interacting with their neighbors... These are morons who are doing it too each other.

Where it starts to turn into something evil is when they go after the non-believers.

The reason they beat the kid to death is precisely because the kid wanted to leave the church. They killed him because he was a non-believer; or worse, his religious freedom was to be denied, in the name of theirs.

Seems like a cult more than a church being they closed themselves off from society and even interacting with their neighbors... These are morons who are doing it too each other.
