Just hoping to give hope to others in this process. Our NOA1 date was 11/14/06. Our NOA2 date was 02/01/07. The embassy (Moscow) received the petition at 12:30 PM on February 26 (it left the NVC on the 20th, but it was the second of 2 packages sent to Moscow -- the first package was delivered on the 23rd, a Friday, our package was delivered on the 26th (the next Monday). The letter went out on the 27th advising that her interview date is the 20th of April. So, it looks like it took about 77 days from NOA1 to NOA2 and 50 days from the embassy's receipt of the petition to her interview date. Every part of process has been significantly faster than I estimated based on the historical trends. NOA2 to NVC ship date (20 days) seems average.

Good luck to everyone else and here's hoping that our case is the new statistical average as of now.

Congratualtions. I am glad it is moving so well but you are making me a little jealous. Mine has been at NVC for 40 days without a peep from them. One guy with the same NOA-2 date from VT and a fiancee from Russia has his interview on March 25th. I am beginning to think mine is lost behind some filing cabinet.

Good luck on the interview. I am sure it will go great and you will be together soon.

Congrats Percival504. That's awesome speed. Ensure you get her your financial support docs accomplished and sent to her ASAP and she finishes up her police checks and medical stuff.

Turboguy, you've gotta rattle some cages or something. 40 days is way too long!

Thanks Slim, It has me worried. I keep hoping something will happen but it does not seem to. Monday I will see if I can find some cages to rattle.

Congrats Percival504! That is pretty fast, and Katya and I are right behind you. Our NOA1 was 11/22/06, NOA2 02/12/07, NVC received 02/20/07, and I just got an e-mail from the NVC on 03/02/07 saying our case has "recently been forwarded to the US Embassy/Consulate General." So I'm hoping by this Friday our case will be up on the Embassy's appointment schedule! http://www.usembassy.ru/consular/iv_dates.php
