The last time I checked their web site, they still accepted walk-ins. However, you can report your marriage by mail.

Yeah. But its too much hassle to have all documents notarized if we send it by mail... which is why am thinking of doing a walk in instead..

The only things that need o be notarized are the four report-of-marriage forms. You should be able to do that at your bank in 5-10 minutes. You'll be in your bank anyway, because you'll need a money order.

Ohhh gotcha. I thought all of it needs to be notarized... so just the forms then? We dont need the money order though since we got a check to use to pay the fee... and i couldnt find in their website if we need to report our marriage within 30 days (i never thought there's a rule like this)... can you guide me to where the requirements and rules are found? I was reading the pdf instructions, they didnt even put the address to where we should send it...

You don't need to report your marriage at all, unless you want to renew a passport or reacquire Filipino citizenship. They don't take checks.

You're making more out of this then necessary. Relax and follow the directions. Go to your bank and get your document notarized. Send all your documents to:

Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco
