The storm signal has been lifted. The wind is still blowing hard though. Here at the hotel for tomorrow's interview.

I hope jebetot would share her experience during her interview today.

To those who'll have their interview this week, good luck to us! ???

I'm a he lol ? everything work out great for me today got approved in minutes. Although the wait is dreadful..Got in line about 5:30 ( wind is blowing hard and a bit of rain but very manageable even without an umbrella hehe ) and was finished around 11:30.

Step 1. Biometrics / fingerprint taking just present your passport , NVC letter and ds 160 .

Step 2. Pre screening with filipino consul. Mine was easy i was just asked to present my birth cert, cenomar, police clerance, brown envelope from slec and ds 160. Questions asked were how did we meet, did i travel abroad and what did i do abroad .

Step 3. oath taking

Step 4. interview with the US consul. I was at window 66 with this lovely US consul lady who asked me how did we meet , for how long we've known each other, any wedding plans, did i live abroad and what did i do there, what does my fiancee do for a living , when was the last time we saw each other and what makes the world go round haha just kidding. She didn't even bother to look on our pictures and AOS. After the interview she said congratulations , you got approved just wait for your visa then I was like ,"wow that was fast haha " she replied yes because your case is an easy case and told me to go home ?

Step 5. not needed

advice: don't screw up on giving your US address lol there was one lady who couldn't remember her fiance's address and got grilled on the interview ? plus be honest :)

Goodluck to your interviews . Pray more worry less :)

Hi jebetot! Thank you for sharing your experience. It was very helpful.

Had my interview earlier and we're approved! Yay!!! We arrived there at 4:30. We were inside the embassy at 6:30 and we're done by 8:30. It was a short process for us because I had a 2 yr-old with me and we're one of the priorities and didn't have to wait long in each step. :);)

Special thanks to Hank and Greenbaum for helping us with our concerns and questions. And to everyone else who are here..

Good luck to the rest! Keep smiling. :)

Congrats!! :joy:

Now a little more patience as you wait for the embassy to complete the processing and ship your visa. Then off to CFO to get your stickers!

Leave all your electronic devices in your Hotel or at home. It will be your risk to leave your stuff with the sidewalk vendors with a Fee. You cannot bring any electronic devices even USB inside the US embassy manila.

Sure your family and fiance can wait till you get home/ Hotel to hear the good news:)
