Hello guys,

My interview is scheduled on Tuesday, October 20th. Kinda worried because of the typhoon. Anyone here who has an interview next week?

God bless the wonderful people of the Philippines. My fiance goes for her medical on the 22nd and interview on the 29th. Hope everything works out for all of us. Prayers are going out to you now from many of my friends. God bless!!!

5/17/16 - AOS interview

5/23/16 - Online status changed to CASE APPROVE dated 5/18/16

5/23/16 - Received AOS approval letter in the mail

5/23/16 - Online status changed to CARD WAS MAILED TO ME

5/24/16 - Card was picked-up by USPS (online status)

If the embassy is closed, they WILL announce it. They will post it on their website, they will post it on FB and pretty sure they will tweet it... or whatever that is. :)

I'm in Chicago now bound for HK then onto MNL. Looks like the typhoon is coming towards HK :( most likely my flight will be cancelled or delayed. At least I have one more day before the interview with my fiancee so I should be able to make it if my flight gets delayed only one day.

Last I read the typhoon was losing steam as it starts to leave the Phils. And it is heading northward as it leaves the Phils. Hopefully all will be fine for your flight.

No announcement that US embassy will be closed.. It's on ANC news fb page that there's still people lining up outside US embassy, so i guess show must go on..

Hi. NOPE, the typhoon is not going to HKG. The typhoon will be out of the Phils by Saturday Oct 24 and direction heading to Japan. Impossible to got to HKG.

The storm signal has been lifted. The wind is still blowing hard though. Here at the hotel for tomorrow's interview.

I hope jebetot would share her experience during her interview today.
