Bar Ilan University’s Edy Cohen needs to figure out why, since churches were first established there during the Roman Empire, almost 2000 years ago, it took the "evil muslims" so many centuries to get to it.

Bethlehem is, after all, in the "occupied" territories. The only change is that occupation.

With that in mind, I guess "No Jews, No News" is spot on correct. It is not surprising that churches are being burned in an area "occupied" by people who spit on christians, study under a legal system that is comprised of hate speech towards christianity, and ban christian celebrations.

"The burning of the church in Bethlehem was a despicable and racist act against a marginalized community who lived peacefully in this country before the arrival of the Muslims" in your article, in order to be accurate and correct, needs to be reworded to The burning of the church in Bethlehem was a despicable and racist act against a marginalized community who lived peacefully in this country before the arrival of the Israeli occupation

There. Fixed. Anything else?

Oh yippie here we go again. If you really want to do this again I'm game but we've already been there done that and I've already proven you wrong before. Are there instances where Christians are treated unfairly in Israel? Sure, god knows you made sure to show us pretty much all of them. Are there instances where Jews are being treated unfairly in the US? Absolutely. Are there instances where Muslims are being treated unfairly in the US? Of course. Are there instances where Jews or Christians are being treated unfairly by Muslims? You betcha. A whole lot more than the above. Oh but wait, silly me, according to some in this forum Israeli Jews are held to a different standard than the Muslims around them. It's called the bigotry of low expectations.

As far as Bethlehem being occupied - more disinformation.

On December 21, 1995, Israeli troops withdrew from Bethlehem, and three days later the city came under the complete administration and military control of the Palestinian National Authority in conformance with the Interim Agreement on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in 1995

Couldn't it have been converted to a mosque?

It's almost like violence begets violence, isn't it? The hypocrisy is that no other people, more so than the Israelis, should know what being without a country is like.

Yes, your statement above is disinformation.

This is from 2014

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/sep/01/israeli-settlement-west-bank-gvaot-condemned

The UK and US governments have criticised, in unusually strong language, Israel's decision to approve one of the largest appropriations of Palestinian land for settlement in recent decades.

The UK foreign secretary, Philip Hammond, said he deplored the move as "particularly ill-judged".

However, Israel's economics minister, Naftali Bennett, who visited the Gush Etzion settlement in the occupied West Bank on Monday, applauded Sunday's decision as an "appropriate Zionist response to murder". Bennett said: "What we did yesterday was a display of Zionism. Building is our answer to murder."

The settlement affects nearly 400 hectares (1,000 acres) at Gvaot near Bethlehem, which have been designated as state land, as opposed to land privately owned by Palestinians, clearing the way for the potential Israeli building.

That's just one from last year.

Israel expanding settlements in Bethlehem area

Aug. 19, 2013 9:35 P.M. (Updated: Aug. 21, 2013 4:11 P.M.)

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) – Israeli lorries were seen Monday unloading new mobile homes at Israeli settlements in east Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.

Locals told Ma’an that at least five new movable houses were unloaded Monday in Noqedim settlement near Herodium east of Bethlehem.

Noqedim is home of the right-wing former Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Liberman the leader of the right wing Yesrael Beitenu political party.

Witnesses noted construction in Bethlehem-area settlements, which has been ongoing forfive years, increased noticeably in recent weeks.

The list goes on and on.

Do you have some more lies, lies, and more lies to spread?

Not supriseed at all. Been lurking awhile but have only posted a few times.

I will not comment much about things in the Islamic community. I have been warned the mods here don't tolerate views contrary to thiers.

Actually you can talk about the Islamic Community. We do it all the time. The difference is, we tend to not use derogatory language and generalize an entire religion based on the actions of a few.

So, have at it.

Whose arguing that? If you are a Muslim, you follow Islam. So break out those stats.
