I filed my petition with USCIS with my maiden name, however, I recently changed my last name to my husband's surname. Do I need to update USCIS? I only see guidance on the website for address changes etc. Thanks guys!!?

On every form they ask for aliases or maiden name , they do know your name has changed

and a copy of your marriage cert proves that, but its totally up to you to do so now , or wait

some ppl never change it like Authors , doctors & those with fame. If you feel best to do so

now then you can send a letter I guess
