Hi,

Does anyone know how to send proof of payment for my IO who interviewed me? I had my interview on Aug 20th and I was recommended for approval, although I owed federal tax $6,000 because I ammended my tax.

IO asked me if I have a payment plan with the IRS and I told her they didn't process it yet and I thought she would say "decision cannot be made" but she approved it instead.

Well I pay off my bill in full and I don't know how to send it in proof of payment. My husband thinks that why I didn't get the oath letter.

My sister in law couldn't take her oath on Sept 11 and they rescheduled her-so she's taking the oath today,so I'm feeling a bit bummed.

Congratulations on your Approval!!

Why are you feeling bummed? Just be patient and wait for your letter and oath ceremony!

I wouldn't send anything unless formally requested by RFE. If you don't receive an RFE you don't need to send any more info :)

Ok,I just want to send in my proof of payment,so you think I should not send in anything and just wait?

Correct.

1. You don't know where or who to send the info to.

2. Without an RFE there is no Log or tracking of the info when received.

3. If they haven't requested the info by letter with a formal RFE to track than it's not required.

Perhaps you'll receive an RFE in the mail but until then I would just wait and maybe give the help line a call to see if an RFE is coming your way. :)
