I just filed my I-751 (february 27 of 2007) to remove my conditions.

My conditional green card and driver's license will expire on (april 05 of 2007)

This is my question if I don't get a receipt for the I-751 on time.

How can I get my driver's license renew?

or How can I prove to my boss that I can work because my case is still pending?

Will I Get a Work Permit?

As a legal permanent resident, you should have received a permanent resident card. This card will continue to prove that you have a right to live and work in the United States permanently. If you file your USCIS Form I-751 (Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence) on time, the USCIS will extend your conditional resident status for up to 12 months while your Form I-751 petition is under review.

wait for the receipt and take the receipt from USCIS to the dmv and get them to renew the licence. some States have different rules and you might just have to postone your driving till it arrives
