Taking too long for Nvc to review ds260 form

I submitted the ds260 online after paying IV fee on July 2015 and until now i am still waiting for them to review it before they can schedule the interview. I have called them 3-4 times and they told me they already send notes to their supervisors but until now it still has not been review! It has been more than three months now and my priority cut off day is at current : dec 26th 2007! The new visa bulletin shows for October is Jan 15th 2008 which tell me that my case is going slower ! Don't know what else to do to make this happen sooner ! Any advise is help !

There seems to be a lot of issues with the DS-260 not being reviewed within the 30 day timeline. I've seen quite a few people with the same issue here on VJ and on another visa forum. I'm in the same boat as you, although I submitted my DS-260 back on May 1st and five and a half months later, it still hasn't been reviewed.

I think you've done what you can for now. You called NVC and they left a note for the supervisor to review it. Where you already on supervisor review when they left that note for the supervisor? If not, then they put you on supervisor review which means 45 days waiting for supervisor review, if you're lucky and get the right supervisor.

Count 50 days from the day the NVC rep put you on supervisor review. If you haven't heard anything by then, contact your Senator and request their assistance in dealing with NVC.

Thanks for your reply. I wonder why it taking that long for them to review ds260? Is there any immigrant lawyer can help to move it on track?

You are not the only one a lot of people have that problem and im one of them the rep put a note on my ds260 too and ask me to wait my doc's reviewed what can we do nothing just waiting for a miracle to happen

Similarly like you, I submitted my DS260 in July, around the time they were having the technical issues. It took 2 chats with a supervisor to finally get it reviewed and get a CC. The second talk I had with her, she told me she would send a message to all the supervisors of the department that review the DS-260. That very same day, I received a CC. I definitely recommend talking to a supervisor and be persistent. It paid off for me. I had to push through the responses that everyone was delayed and they were currently reviewing DS260s submitted in April. I think she finally realized there was no reason to delay when I told her my other case was CCed even though we submitted it at the end of August.

You just really need to unrelenting in these cases.
