I collect stories about lottery winners. Here's one of my favorites. It's a true story, but I may get a few details wrong off the cuff like this:

Usama bin Laden had an assistant who stole $100.00 from him. When he discovered the money was missing, he confronted his assistant and demanded it back. The assistant said he would get it, but instead ran to the CIA for protection. This was around 1999, and, at that time, the CIA wasn't terribly concerned about bin Laden. Still, they questioned the former assistant, and he made a deal to give them information about Al Qaeda for a payment of about 1 million dollars. They packed him off to NYC, and put him up in a safe house. Bored, he began to play the lottery, and won! I forget how much, but the irony of all this is profound.
