Oddly enough that figure matches the death toll of a single day, 8/8/2015 in Houston TX. It also falls short of the death toll 10/1/2015 in Roseburg OR. Both single, read individual, mass shooting incidents here in the US.

But hey, that's life right?

Since October 1, 37 Palestinians have been killed in shootings and clashes with Israeli forces in the occupied Palestinian territories and Israel, while seven Israelis have been killed in knife and gun attacks.

Rights groups have warned that Israel is using excessive force against Palestinians and that some of the incidents amounted to extrajudicial killings.

As I did not comment other than SMH I am wondering now you feel the need to deliberately antagonize. The reason for the stabbings is very clear in light of who lives there, how they are treated, and who the aggressors are.

We receive AlJazeera (English) by satellite, they report the real news in real color with real video and that real video does not match what you say. I wonder why you always feel threatened and defensive when this happens?

There was NO change in the status quo in Jerusalem and even most Arabs in Israel are aware of that. That is pure incitement. As far as the limitations - that happened ONLY after the stabbings started and in an attempt to prevent them. I can go on and on. Like I said trust aljazeera at your own peril.

The irony and hypocrisy is that the Palestinians are treating the settlers invading their country in the same manner many here advocate we should treat undocumented immigrants.

You bring up a very good point that many seem oblivious to.

By calling the west bank an "occupied territory" like many people in this forum do they are completely ignoring history and facts.

It is a disputed territory and should be called that. It cannot, however be considered occupied, as Israel took it from Egypt and Jordan, who themselves held it illegally.

As a matter of fact, there was no "official" ruler of the land since the British. It was never determined who the land belongs to, as the UN partition plan(Res 181) passed in the general assembly which is bascially no more than a recommendation.

As we all know the Arabs rejected the plan and so the Israeli war of independence began in which Egypt and Jordan ended up with those territories, which Israel "won" fair and square some 20 years later in the 6-day war.

The Palestinians never had control of the land and so it was never actually "occupied" from them.

So disputed yes. Occupied no.

The West Bank can only be considered "disputed territory" if the end goal is to insure that the Palestinians never get their own State. I'm a little bit surprised at the argument and how much it really helps the Israeli claim to desire peace.
