The last call was so disturbing that I had to call again.

This time, the rep put me on hold for a couple of minutes, then came back and said that the case's electornic processing is complete waiting to be scheduled for interview. I said can you tell me the date of complete for my case, (not with 100% certainty) she said as of today.

canuk2usa - Congrats on the CC. I guess you should begetting your interview date any day now. I'm currently collecting all our interview documents to UPS over to my partner in Toronto. Anybody know if we need additional proof of bonafide relationship to bring to the interview?

Have not received case complete yet. Hoping for this week and an early December interview.

Ended up getting a checklist for the outdated I-864 & I-864A, had to complete and send new version of form.

Was told by phone about 2 weeks ago that they would be sending the checklist by email and regular mail.

The 1st rep said I had to wait for the checklist before sending anything.

Called back 2 days later and was told by the 2nd rep that I don't need to wait for the checklist and to send in the required forms (confirmed what the checklist was for).

I sent on October 29th and to this day (Nov 6) have not received an email or snail mail about the checklist.

We are hoping for a CC by November 29th and an interview date in Montreal by mid-January.

Keep your fingers crossed for us.

Question for those who already had the interview. What time should I get at the embassy gates ( my interview it's scheduled for 10 am) and what time does the embassy start operating? Also would it be possible to pay $$ cash at the embassy for my green card, or my only option would be online? And if online it's my only option does anyone know can you pay from a Canadian bank or us bank still required for the payment? Thnx guys

My wife had her interview yesterday, December 1 (and it was APPROVED!!). Her interview was at 10am, and she arrived around 9:25am. I read here on VJ that you shouldn't arrive more than 30 minutes before your scheduled interview time.

We did not pay anything at the embassy. I think there is one more fee to pay and it can be paid at the POE. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!)

Did anyone else see that Montreal Consulate changed the courier from Loomis to Canada Post as of December 1? We registered for Loomis the week before the interview to pick up at the Loomis location in Markham. I signed into the ais.usvisa-info.com site the evening after the interview and saw that they had changed to Canada Post and they had changed our pickup location to a Canada Post location in Markham. It gave us the option to change the pickup location to a different Canada Post location, so I changed it to a location in Toronto, since that's where she's located. I hope this won't cause any confusion/mishaps for us picking up the passport. She was told by the officer that it would take 2 weeks for her to get the passport back. The ceac.state.gov site still shows our case status as "Ready" (for interview), which is a little disconcerting.

Good luck to everyone. We haven't posted a review of her interview experience on the Montreal consulate review board yet, but we will asap. I think it was pretty run of the mill. The main thing that they were concerned about was the AOS - make sure that you have copies of tax info for the past year, current employer letter, and check stubs. I can give more details if anyone is interested.
