Hi there, I have a question about Part 3 of the I-485 form, where it says:

List your present or past membership in or affiliation with every organization, association, fund, foundation, party, club, society,or similar group in the United States or in other places since your 16th birthday.

I have been a part of school and University clubs (I don't even remember the dates associated with them). Since, they aren't political or professional, do I need to mention them?

USCIS is asking for criminal affiliations and memberships in similar organizations. School memberships don't count however if you feel like listing your student organizations to make you feel better list them and put an approximate year.

Yes. If you can't remember those particular dates of or other details and it's not a registered club, no need to mention them. Like said before, if you were member of some political or other serious type of organization, you must specify that. It could raise concerns and questions if you don't disclose something of that nature. However you don't need to mention school, college club memberships, local soccer team captain or something if they weren't registered. So use your prudence on that...
