OHIP Health coverage while in US on K1 visa?

I would like to know if my fiance will still be covered by OHIP while she is here in the States on K1 visa and also after she applies for change of status.

Also after coming here on k1 visa, when will she be able to come back to Canada to visit her family?

Please note that when she does go back to Canada with her AP she will have to be paroled in. This consist of USCIS taking her fingerprints and photo's.

Nope - she ceases to be a resident of her province and thus is not entitled to OHIP since she is no longer paying provincial taxes etc....

It's a question people often ask and are sometimes surprised by the answer.

06/17/11 - status change - scheduled for interview

06/20?/11 - received physical interview letter

07/13/11 - Interview in Fairfax,VA - easiest 10 minutes of my life
