need to know how many in the household

for 2, it is $19,912

for 3, it is $25,112

do, to answer you the people here need to know how many will be in your house

but Casa denies most and the case will be returned to the US and allowed to expire

applicant should go to Morocco and marry and do CR 1

By the way casablanca does not deny most cases cause today out of the 15 k1 visa interviews all were approved . Case by case . I submitted pay stubs and a work letter on what I make yearly so what ever they make weekly times that by 52 0r 2000 monthly times 12 . I just had my job times it by 52 weeks and put the yearly salary rather then weekly salary .

How about 2013 and 2012 tax returns did you show them too. Cause when my fiancé has his interview they tried to say I didn't make enough which I do . And he showed those tax returns and that was fine

Hmm that's to bad sorry to hear that . Maybe try emailing and just to double check ask them maybe you can provide another updated work letter it might help . There closed tomorrow but open Friday . I guess it depends on the officer you have too . My fiancé had the American guy . Or if u can wait for when the w2 taxes come out . First week of January is when work places start sending them out .

It sounds like a case of miscommunication.

You showed the current pay stubs which are above the poverty line, but they say you need a joint sponsor because the previous years income is below the poverty line.

Did you specifically explain to them that he is making more now, and that they can see it from the pay stubs? I think they did not look at the current information.

If I were you I would send an email like the following to the IV unit in Casablanca. You need to put your name and case number in the subject line:

Hello, this is XXX. I attended an interview on September 30, 2015 for a K1 visa Case Number XXX filed by petitioner XXX.

At the end of the interview I received a 221 (g) form stating that I need a joint sponsor.

My fiance earned $XXX in 2014 as shown by the tax documents presented. This is below the poverty guidelines for our household of two people.

However, his current income is $XXX. This is shown in his current paycheck stubs and the letter from his employer. This is above the poverty guidelines for our household of two people.

In addition to his current income, the petition also has $25,000 in his bank account.

In January 2016, will the consulate accept his 2015 W-2 as proof of his income being above the poverty guidelines, instead of having a joint sponsor?

In this email I have attached the 2014 tax transcript, the current paycheck stubs, the letter from the employer, and the bank statement showing current balance.

I can be reached by email XXX or telephone XXX.

Thank you kindly,

XXX
