Sep 20/06............... Thx God! NOA2 date

Sep 21/06............... touched; got 5 approval emails! thank you Lord!

Oct 18/06............... My baby got the letter from NVC

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Hi All,

Just wanted to let you know that my fiancee picked up her visa from the embassy today. :dance: The interview went very well except for a problem with one of her documents. When she initially turned in the documents before her interview, she was told she needed to bring a document proving she has custody of her son to the interview. We discussed whether we should have that document translated, but according to the instructions they sent her, it said "All documents must be translated into English except if in Indonesian language". Since this document was over 20 pages long, I advised her it should be ok as it is. Obviously, it was not, even though their instructions said that it was. So, I guess every embassy is different but my advice would be to get ALL orginal documents translated to English, even if the instructions tell you different.

Anyway, that being said, my fiancee should be arriving at JFK the end of March :dance: Thanks for everyone's help in here. We couldn't have done this without you :thumbs: Now, I'll be moving to the AOS section. :lol:
