The 221g English translation asked for Petitioner and Beneficiary family tree. However, in the Vietnamese translation, it required only beneficiary. Since it would have been a hassle to ask the consulate, included both. It is a mistake in translation and I think it might have been fixed. No harm in turning in both. Better to have more than less.

Regarding timeline, after the submission of all documents, they asked to wait about 30 mins and came back with approved visa. If you ask me, would the consulate workers sit there and read each page? I doubt it, and if so, will they interview again to verify conflicting info?

Be careful in reading the English and Vietnamese translations, they make mistakes.

Well the tineline was in the original packet though I did send an updated one with my wife for the interview. They never looked at it though.

I think the timeline now is a required paperwork formality. Best to include it when filing it in the initial packet or else you get the 221g asking for it causing delay. But you never know, they could come up with all sorts of paperwork they want you to submit as well.

I'm working on my timeline now, getting sworn affidavit together. I will be flying over next month to submit the documents. Anything else I should consider submitting?
