Hello,

I see from your timeline that it took a year before they scheduled an interview.

Did you need to provide them new documents during or before the interview? Because most probably, some of the documents have a short validity period.

Yes. In the interview you have to bring a latest police certificate with a validity within 12 months.

Did you also need to provide new tax transcript for the current tax year and file a new affidavit of support?

Yes. You have to bring a latest tax transcript (currently is 2017) and W-2 or other financial documents.

Affidavit of support is not expired after accepted by the NVC, you don't have to file a new AOS.

But you have to bring an AOS to the interview, even you submitted it to NVC.
