I was never asked to provide them with an email address although I think they have my fiancée's email address from somewhere.

I don't believe a lot of what the NVC phone line says, from my experience their information tends to vary wildly and is extremely inconsistent. My Fiancée phoned them at the first CEAC update (8th) and they said they don't have information on the interview dates and to wait for my letter to arrive.

Looking at other threads most people seemed to get their letters roughly 2 weeks after their medical.

See I've heard that it could take up to 4 weeks to get an interview date.. and most people's timelines are that it takes 6 weeks from the medical to the interview.. Which seems like such a long time but we are already 2 weeks down.

I know what you mean about the NVC though - but they just told me that there was no information there yet and to wait until I got an email but I am going to keep calling lmao!

It would be funny if we ended up with the same interview date.

Do you know if you're allowed to go at the opening hour? So say they schedule my interview for 1pm - can I still go at opening hours as its first come first serve?

I heard the opposite, its roughly 2 weeks to get the interview date then 4 weeks to wait for the interview. Never certain with this process though, I am just relieved to be on the final step.

I don't know whether they would allow you to go in early or not, I'd personally prefer the 1pm appointment so wouldn't need to pay for a hotel.

Perhaps I'll see you there!

It varies guys.

2 weeks to get letter. 4 weeks to interview.

3 weeks to get letter. 4 weeks to interview.

3 weeks to get letter. 3 weeks to interview.

4 weeks to get letter. 2 weeks to interview.

6 weeks to get letter. 1 week to interview.

You can go in early.

You will not get a 1pm appointment. Interviews are in the morning. (There was a brief switch to afternoon only interviews in the 2015 summer.) It is back to mornings. Most appointment letters will have a 8:00 to 9:00ish time.

No mail today :( Not even my package from Amazon!

Hopefully Monday then! Did you have any luck with the NVC?

No :( Not yet. They said no interview date has been scheduled yet and its usually between 4 and 6 weeks but I am keeping it in my mind that it'll be before then. Thoughts become things after all ;)

This, I think, is the most frustrating part because we are just so close to the end. We'll get there. I am sure we will hear something this coming week.

Not made it home from the office today so not sure!

Have you had anything?

:crying::crying::crying::crying: no. I'm getting really antsy and frustrated now though because I keep getting emails from the July filers saying they have received their interview dates (even though I'm extremely happy for them) can't help but feel jealous.

My CEAC status hasn't updated either - how about yours?

Nada. I just had someone at home check the mail and I've got nothing.

My CEAC status is the same but I didn't really expect it to update. It'll come through soon we just have to keep the faith! On the plus side I finish my job next Friday so I am pretty excited about that!

I'm really hoping it'll come this week for us both!

& that is so exciting! I'm working up until I leave so I can save up and splurge on new furniture for the house :) It's nice being able to think about little things like that!

Still nothing. I should probably try to forget about it and the time will pass quicker, its just very hard not too especially with all of the reports of people not receiving their letters at all!

Nothing on my end either - did you receive your letter for packet 3?

And that's why I'm calling NVC as well as checking email and post and CEAC status. I'm going to leave it for a week, I think.. Saying that I know I'm still going to obsess.

I put £10 Skype credit and call NVC on there. I've rang them 3 times and one time was on hold 20 minutes and I've still only used £1 so might be worth it for you if you're worried you won't receive a letter?

I can't wait

I emailed them and got my date a couple of days after they updated status having got medical results. They said a letter was sent out (which I never got)

My interview is next monday and still no letter. Im not too worried, i have my email confirmation. Just odd that I never got the letter.

Im tempted to call NVC today just to double check my interview is still on Monday. Funnily enough, my ceac status was updated today which means maybe they sent out a letter today? Who knows

Hi Henley, from reading other reports like this I would take a copy of the email with you to the embassy. Its probably worth calling the NVC too. I am going to put some Skype credit on and give them a call today!

Edit: Just out of curiosity, when was your medical?
