Stressed..... I live and work here in Manila. I have been here just under 2 years and got married May 09 2015. I just got an offer to go back to the US. I filed a I-130 for my wife on September 22, 2015, I have to be back in the US December 20th for my new job.. I was told it will talk 30-90 days before I find out if her petition gets accepted? How long does this take? What if I have to go back to the US before he interview or the next step? Very confused and stressed. Can anyone share info on what I should expect?

We filed DCF Manila on September 11 and we have heard nothing yet.

Tomorrow, Friday the 16th will be 5 weeks.

We stopped by the Embassy on October 8th to check on the status of the petition.

The lady at Window 25 was very nice and stated that the petition was currently being "adjudicated" and also stated that two documents that we had sent after the initial filing via email attachments, were in fact included in the petition.

I am thinking that I will call USCIS at the Embassy, the middle of next week to check on the status.

keep bugging them :) thats what i did when i filed the petition for my husband. I basically called everyday to follow up.

July 15, 2013 - Filed I-130 petition for husband. (DCF)

July 17, 2013 - Received a call from USCIS for RFE.

July 19, 2013 - Sent additional evidence via air21.

* Basically called atleast 2x a week for the month of July/August to check the status of my husband's petition

9-10-13 - ( 2nd month wedding monthsarry ) Recieved an email stating petition APPROVED on 09SEP13!!!!dancin5hr.gif

9-13-13 - Called IV Manila & lady was super nice, checked husband's petition, was told to call back Monday for case#.!

9-17-13 - Got the MNL case number!!! completed the DS-260 form& sent an email.dancin5hr.gif

9-30-13 - Medical: Day 1

10-1-13 - Medical : Day 2 Husband PASSED!!!

10-22-13 - INTERVIEW!!! APPROVED& CEAC STATUS :ISSUED!!!!! WOHOOO!! GOD IS GREAT!! THANK U PAPA GOD!

10-26-13 - VISA ON HAND!!!!! HORAAAY!!! THANK YOU PAPA GOD!!!

1-14-14 - POE LAX
