I have a question my Fiance interviewed in Manila on October 1st.She had a 221g for additional NBI and Cenomar because of a misspelling of her name that had been corrected on her birth certificate she mailed them in the next day. They did keep her passport and did not request additional documents. So the part I am confused about it is the CEAC website if we look up under non immigrant it says NO STATUS and if under immigrant it says administrative processing which i have seen updated on the 8th and the 13th and 14th always administrative processing. Is it normal for looking up under non immigrant to say No status?

Hello! If u want to check it under the non-immigrant visa status, you use the ds160 barcode number. Yes, it is normal that you can see it under the immigrant visa status coz it will be changed to a non-immigrant visa once issued. For easy access, just check it under the immigrant visa status. ?

Any idea about the case being updated 3 times so close together. The 8th the 13th the 14th...I know it means they at least looked at our file but stays the same.

I know the wait is excruciating... but know this that some people on AP can take weeks or months. Yes, that is a good sign that they are atleast checking on your case and most probably forwarding to the next step.

Just be patient and your wait is almost over soon. Since you have complied and submitted what was asked, you guys should be OK.

Relax. Relax. Relax. Relax. Relax. The process you are seeing is NORMAL. Why do you people drive yourself so crazy. Does checking make it go faster?? I know it doesn't so I am here to tell you that you will have your visa when you will have your visa.

The visa processing steps after visa interview are as follows:

The first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

The first READY is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

The second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

The second READY is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Next it will be ISSUED which it is being released for delivery and has left the building with 2go.

No one can tell anyone when they will get there visa. There has been some who received in two days and others more than three months. Normal delivery is around 3 weeks if the sun, moon and mars are lined up so don’t run out and buy any airline tickets till your visa is in your hands.

If you check and says nonimmigrant instead of immigrant then you will get issued in just a few days.

I was going to tell you if you want to check under nonimmigrant use the aa number from the DS160 Barcode but someone beat me to it....most people don't know that trick. But either way it just says the same thing..
