But this is what bothers me about the police / media and the ilk. In this instance they truly were law enforcement. Not really out for the best outcome for that person. Dont think should have escorted kid, but maybe drove that guy themselves. Just think this story shows how police is so much retroactive vs proactive...

Having a heart attack on a busy shoulder of a road being harassed by law enforcement I'm sure was not facilitative of his heallth/wellness.

Probably have another heart attack when the bill for the ambulance comes....

You can't expect the police officer to make a diagnosis, and drive the guy to the hospital . It would not be within the realm of the officer's duties to drive him to the ER.. Bottom line , call in the professionals ie the ambulance service.
