Hi everybody,

This Thursday my wife has an interview in embassy and if everything goes well she should hold her visa in a next few days.

Since she was never traveling on a airplane, and considering that she often panics, the most simplest solution for her (and me) is that fly I to her, stay few days and than come back to US with her. We'll land on JFK.

My question is about procedure, I mean paperwork, she has to do with USCIS officer when we land. As much as we are informed she will get some packet in embassy with some paperwork in it that USCIS officer has to put stamp on it or whatever.

My second question is can she come with me on US citizen line or she has to go on non-US citizen line?

and my third question is, what if i stay with her in europe for month or two, will that make some complications to her immigration?

Thanks in advance.

You can both go in the non-citizens line, but not in the citizens line.

You will be waved through and she needs to go to the back room. I'm not sure if you can accompany her.

Tnx for your reply, sounds like it will be a long day at JFK but most important thing is that everything goes well.

Can you tell me if it's a problem if I stay in Europe for month or two? I asking that because the job where I'm working now is pretty bad, it's a hostile environment and abusive, so if I'll stay in EU I'll have to quit my job so I don't know will that effect her visa?
