K1 Visa- if you have to cancel interview date

HI,

Does anyone know if you have to cancel your interview date . does this close you out of getting another interview date ??? we had to cancel ours on Sept 9th due to embassy not sending packet in time.. it strangely came in email on Sept 10th. Now I wonder if it will cause us not to be able to schedule another interview date. As I am sure we all know Algeria has not opened any dates since September.. Any insight would be helpful

Call or email the Embassy and request a new date.

thanks, problem is they do not have a line to the visa dept. when you call the embassy they say you can only make appointments online. There is no one to speak to
