Hello!

This is my first posting on visa journey. I have recently moved and wanted to report my new address on USCIS website. When I was filing AR11 for i-130 and i-485, I just put my name for both. Later I realized that I might have had to put my husband's name for AR11 for i-130 since he is the petitioner(of rather, I should have had him do it himself?)

Is it ok that I filed AR11 for both or should my husband have filed AR11 for i-130?

I am nervous :( please help me! Your input would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the beneficiary does AR-11 and the petitioner does the I-865.

AR-11 is for aliens only. You would complete the AR-11 online and also include your pending applications in it (I-485, I-765, I-131).

Your husband as a US citizen would instead use USCIS' change of address tool in order to change the address on the I-130, since that is his petition.

Thank you both for your answers. I also read the USCIS instruction more carefully and found the section for my question.

"U.S. Citizens

U.S. citizens are not required to file a Form AR-11 and can make a change of address on pending cases via our Online Change of Address page or by calling 1-800-375-5283. For TTY (deaf or hard of hearing) call: 1-800-767-1833. U.S. Citizens who do not have an application or petition pending with USCIS are only legally required to notify USCIS of a change of address if they have previously submitted a Form I-864 on behalf of someone who has become a permanent resident. If you have previously submitted a Form I-864 for someone who immigrated to the U.S., you must complete a Form I-865 within thirty days of the completion of your move."

Thanks again!
