Hi everyone,

Ok so my husband called the US embassy in Copenhagen yesterday to follow up on the Optional form 169 & DS 230 pat I & II (monday they sent us an e-mail telling us to send it - which we did 2 weeks ago - wednesday they sent some of the docs back). Anyway the woman - who has a serious attitude problem - was like "oh yeah, last time you called I had it and was looking at it while we were talking. But I just threw it on my desk and didn't look at it until now". EXCUSE ME WHAT!! What is that? Do they just throw our papers around and just get to it whenever....? Anyway she said that since our I-130 had been re-approved and they had noticed they actually had all the papers they needed to send us my appointment letter, that we should have it next week. So next week get here soon!

note: to anyone going through Copenhagen. The Optional Form 169 has conflicting info. One page says: Do not send any of these documents to us. The next page says: Please enclose I-864, police record and DS 230 I & II. I went with what page 2 said. But no. You only have to send the Optional Form 169 and DS 230 I & II. (AND NOTHING ELSE LIKE YOU WERE INSTRUCTED TO!! - like they wrote with big red letters on the papers they returned to me)

hey, if you get it next week, it'll still only have been 2 months!!! <sigh> I wish I could still get my Visa in 2 months congratulations i forvejen

Tak. But I still wonder how far out in the future the actual interview date will be. One thing is getting the letter, another thing is the date. I just hope that Copenhagen are as fast as some of the other embassies up here who've given out dates in march. I have my fingers, toes and everything else crossed.
