I usually just dial the number once. If I hear the automated message, I hang up right away. If I hear ringing, I know I've gotten through.

To re-dial, under 'Phone', 'Recents', I just click the NVC number and it automatically dials. I just keep doing this until I get through.

The best thing to do is hang up right away when you hear the automated message and call again.

Manual re-dialing? As in, typing the entire NVC number out every time?

You could also just click the green call button on the keypad and the last number dialed will show up. Click it again to call. So, only 2 clicks to call again.

What are you trying to 'automate' ? If you call its either busy or you get a horrific get lost message. Otherwise a live person answers..what in that process flow could be 'automated' aside from simply redialing? The NVC is not an automated phone system, you cant punch in any codes to get your info.
