Dear all,

I filed my N-400 application at Houston, Texas on 12/23/2014. And done the fingerprint and photo taken on 01/26/2015.

On 06/29/2015, USCIS scheduled me for an naturalization interview on 08/03/2015, When I went to the Houston Field Office, a lady officer told me that they haven't received the whole packge of my immigration application documents these years, so they can't give me an interview.

On 08/06/2015, USCIS rescheduled me for an interview on 09/14/2015 and when I appeared again, another officer called my name, he also told me the same thing that they haven't received the whole packge of my immigration application documents yet, so they can't give me the interview. and I asked him when they would get my package and give me an interview, he said he doesn't know, and I asked what can I do, he told me only wait!

they scheduled me twice then cancelled twice!

On 09/14/2015, I wrote an email to the senator of Texas, he replied me and attached a reply through an imigration officer of Houston field office, the IO told the senator that my case is still under officer review, and will reschedule me once all background checks complete. That means the previous two IOs lied to me :(

Now it has been already about 10 months, and it past the normal processing time. What should I do? Please give me any suggestions, thanks a lot!

I don't see any harm. But just give your other congressman a warning that you have already contacted one of your senators. That way your other congressman don't do double work.

Who knows maybe your other congressman have contacts at USCIS that your first senator does not have? Just an idea, but maybe other VJers can chime in?
