EAD/AP renewal - need help

Hello guys,

My EAD and AP expire on 2/17/16 so I'm preparing to apply for renewal 120 days before expiration. I have several questions and I'd really appreciate your help!

Here are the questions:

1. Date of last entry into the U.S. - it's obvious but just want to make sure lol - that's not the date when I came to the U.S. on k-1 but the date I entered the U.S. after my trip to Europe on AP?

2. I traveled back to my home country on AP this year. What do I put as Status of last entry? I was thinking something like Paroled - Advance Parole based on pending i-485.

3. Eligibility category - it's still ©(9), right?

4. AP (i-131) form - processing information - question 4c - disposition of previously issued reentry permit - what do I write there?

Thanks so much for taking time to read this and answer my questions! :)

Hi; )

1. Yes, the last date you entered the US after your trip to Europe (Use your last i-94 )

2. Status of last entry - i put "K1 Adjustment of Status" in the renewal of my I-765.

For I-131 application form just get all info from your I94.

3.Eligibility category - yes, it is still c(9).

4. Part 3, question 4c.. well, you don't have to write anything there.

You have to answer questions 1,2.

Quest. 3a - just check the box "NO".

Qquest.3b - leave blank, there is nothing here.

Quest. 4a - check the box "No"

4b and 4c - blank, nothing ; ) ;)

Good luck!!!!

Thank you so much for the reply!

For some reason I thought AP and reentry permit were the same thing, now after some googling I see they aren't :)

That's OK. It also took for me some time to recognize the difference between those two, re-entry permit and AP :)

Hope you will hear something about your AOS soon - usually, when you apply for RENEWAL of your EAD, it's some kind of "reminder" for USCIS about your I-485. I had to renew my EAD in June and at the end of July my I-485 finally was touched, after pending more than a year. On September I got approval ;)

Hi ?, I'm about to use AP and was wondering what were your experiences like using AP and what visas were u adjusting from, and if anyone had been out of status at any point.

Thanks in advance.
