Hi Everyone,

My fiance sent our documents 3rd week of July 2015, unfortunately post office kept it for more than 2 months. They delivered October 2 2015 and received it Oct. 5,2015(USCIS texas). enotification sent 8 Oct. 2015 and received the hard copy 10 Oct 2015. what is the next stage after receiving this NOA1?

Does anyone can advise me HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET AN NOA2 APPROVED at California?

If you look at your timeline it shows the projected date of adjucation at the bottom. That is the projected date for NOA2. Nothing is a guarantee though. BTW your country is listed as the default Armenia. You may want to correct that if that is not accurate. It will help in the future for consulate specific questions.

The guides tab has alot of helpful information.

There is also a processing times tab that has the NOA1 dates each service center is currently working on.

Best of Luck!

Bevzie09,

You can always check each office's current processing times here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

The California Service Center's (CSC) processing times are here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abcuGNXvvimlA7FCGtCbv

It currently says 5 month... this would be 5 months from the 'Priority Date' on your NOA1.

Hope that helps.

The California office is much more efficient at processing petitions. Be patient and your NOA-2 will come soon. Even if you get an RFE, you know that the system is working.

To answer your question, it varies. Looking at most of the August filer's posts (the thread I follow the most) the people there received their NOA-2's within about a week to two weeks of getting their NOA-1.

Hope this helps

I am waiting on my NOA2 too! My estimated date is 21st October... I sent off my I-129F application on 17th Sept and they sent the NOA1 on 25th Sept. Looking at timelines etc I think it takes about 2 weeks after NOA1.
