Hello,everyone I have a friend and he accepted to be my joint sponsor does he have to file an I_846A.? Or just an I_864? thank you

Should be I864 if she does not live with you. You have to send I864 too along with her.

A "friend" would send an I-864 in addition to the one from the petitioner, no matter where the friend lives. Only a qualified relative who is part of the same household, could combine income with the petitioner. It takes more than just living with you. A roommate, is not a household member, in this context.

The petitioner and joint sponsor would be wise to carefully study the I-864 instructions, as would anybody answering questions related to any immigration form.
