Hi,

What's in Packet 4 or what is actually a Packet 4?

Can I send my documents requested in Packet 3 (actually an email) right away although I don't have an interview date yet? Or should I wait until I'm able to schedule a date (God knows when they open one!)

I'm asking this specifically for Ankara / Turkey.

Thank you

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

You shouldn't send anything until you schedule your interview. One of the required documents is the CSC confirmation page which you can't get until you have paid the visa fee and scheduled your interview. Just collect everything else and have it ready so when they do finally release some interview dates you can send it in.
