Oh My Gosh- I just cant believe it-We did it  . Marie called me at 3:30 this morning(5:30 PM in the Philippines) and told me that Delbros delivered her Visa. She said Her Passport was stamped VISA. She kept saying over and over kinda singing it " I Got My Visa, I Got My Visa" We are so grateful for all the help from Visa journeys members. We did all of this without an attorney.

I also should add that my last years income didnt meet the guidelines because of a lengthy lay-off i had so we first were going to use my brother as a co-sponsor(We Thought). We then learned that they do not accept co-sponsors for K-3 Visa's in the Philippines. Well actually there isnt even mention of a co-sponsor when using the I-134 affidavit. Technically a co-sponsor is only allowed for the CR1 Visa and a few of the other type Visas but not the K type Visa's. So I was told by VJ Forum to use my brother as our primary sponsor instead. Well we tried that and when Marie went in for her interview she handed them my Brothers I-134 affidavit and then they wanted my(the petitioners) I-134 as well. So she gave them mine also. I was told to also send her mine even though it didnt meet the guideline. I also submitted my last 3 years taxes to show my ability to keep a job and I also gave them all of my current jobs information including a letter from my boss indicating my status/future at my job, my last 3 months of paycheck stubs, and a letter of explanation as to why I didnt meet the guideline for the previous year. The immigration officer read over my affidavit and my Brothers so it appeared that both were vital to Maries Visa being approved.

Well anyway- She got her Visa. I have to Thank you all again- The people on this forum are some of the greatest most understanding and caring people I have ever encountered.. A real big Thanks to Yodrak,Aussiewench,YuAndDan, and a couple other "Big Wigs" I cant think of right off the top of my head. There were also many many others that gave their advice and guidence to us during this leg of our journey. Thankyou all again-I just cant seem to say it enough.

God Bless you all- Gary and Marie
