case approved?

I wonder, maybe my case will be transferred to Manila? What will be the usual requirements they will be asking? I already had my medical exam done last June 2006 but thru the endorsement letter from the US military, and it is past 6 months now...is it still valid?

Uhm...I don't get you...where's your timeline? Have you filed yet? You are the USC and your foreign fiancee is in Manila? But...if so..why did YOU have the medical exam and not your fiancee? ....uhm....maybe you could try again after reading the guides.

My fiance filed the petition last July 2006. I am sorry for not putting our timeline. I will ask him whenever we talk. He's in the military. Yeah i was the one who had the medical exam. His parents have told me that they received a letter from the US Immigration stating that our case was approved and that i had to wait 'till US Embassy in Manila will send me a letter or if i don't get any, i will have to let them know so they will call the Immigrations. (my fiance is in the middle east for a mission and hopefully will get back to the states by summer).

this sounds really really weird. Are you applying for K1??

If your visa is going to approve or not depends on the interview at the US Embassy in Manila, so something cannot be right in case of K1.

It might be that the application was approved (NOA2) and they have sent the file to the embassy. I don't know how recent the medical needs to be.

Yep thats what it sounds like to me too. That was an NOA2 and the letter from the embassy will actually be packet 3.

I just wonder why it took so long for u to get approved. But in any case congrats!

I think u get notice of approval (NOA2). u have to wait for your MNL case number which will be given by NVC.they will sent it to your fiancee. then NVC will forward it to Manila then wait till manila send u any info.

about medical as what I understand ONLY saint lukes is authorized for that.if u got medical last June I think they would give u another medical when USE manila gives u your interview date.Embassy will give u any info for any requirements they need from u...u get a info from USE manila when they get ur papers...

I hope this will help a bit...

One thing I worry is...you might have to wait till your man comes back to get your I-134/Affidavit of Support? ...or maybe he'd get some time to fill it out while he's in Middle East. I hope everything will work out just fine!

Its completed by your fiance or co-sponsor and used as evidence of ability to support in the interview. Its needed by everyone who goes through this process.
