Finally Japanese police clearance after 56 days!!!!

yes after 56 days of waiting we finally received our japan police clearance. we had our interview last sept 1 and this is all we needed. now just have to wait for the visa, hopefully wont be too long ???

we are at 60 days now waiting, did they call you like they say they will do?

we called every week, we applied for ours august 17. i advise you call them, 551-5710 then press 2, then 1, then 4.

You must have filed it with the usa japanese consulate, we filed it from Philippines, Cebu. But I called after seeing your post, still not there, also exactly 56 days for us, we also sent it AUG 17 :)

yes ive heard it takes longer if filing from cebu, i think another post here on VJ said it was a difference of two weeks.

You must have filed it with the usa japanese consulate, we filed it from Philippines, Cebu. But I called after seeing your post, still not there, also exactly 56 days for us, we also sent it AUG 17 :)

If you filed in Cebu then you can add an additional 5-10 days to your wait time. Depending on when Cebu sent it to Manila and Manila sent on to Japan will determine how much longer your wait is. Japanese Embassy in Manila receives mail from Japan on Tues and Thursdays.

Yes pretty much confirms what we already knew in a way, they said 2-3 months so we planned ahead for the delay, no big issue on my end even if it takes the full 90 days to get. Im just getting anxious as this is all coming to and end slowly

LOL i know what you mean, I keep checking every hour for the administrative processing to turn into ISSUED on the ceac tracker haha ???
