HI Guys

Im the US citizen. Filed i129f along with my I130 for my wife who lives in Colombia. In my I129f i included my stepdaugter but not in I130. This week both forms got approved. If I129f gets closed, will my stepdaughter be out of the picture ? Will she be included in my I130 along with my wife ?

Given that I-129f in conjunction with I-130 almost never make it out of NVC, your best bet now is to file I-130 for the stepdaughter and slow down the process at NVC for your wife so both files can be sent together to the embassy.

You can file the petition at any time but the daughter will not come until her petition is approved and she has her interview. Is you wife willing to leave her child there until that happens ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
