Several commercial burglary Charges and one drug possesion

Hello Visa Journey.

So 7 years ago I had a very unfourtunate time in my life where I ran into the wrong crowd and in the end ended up with several (9) burglary charges from one incident. I cooperated with the police and ended up going to prison. I also had a possesion of meth charge around that time. Last year in 2014 I relapsed and got a dui and possesion charge but I havent been convicted because the charges went to a program called drug court where they drop your charges if you complete their program. If you fail the program the Judge reads the police report and finds you either guilty or innocent at that time. I talked with a lawyer about my situation and they said I should get letters from my coworkers, friends etc. I actually have a letter from the detective I coperated with from the burglaries. Does anyone have any personal experience with anything like this? Thanks so much I appreciate your time to help me.

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX

Tell them the truth and that your outlook is positive. Getting into a stable relationship may look good - I think it does. Obviously, you must have a steady source of legal income - another sign of stability. I hope it works out for you. Stay straight and sober - life will get better.
