Can you have too many pictures?

Our consulate is Cuidad Juarez in Mexico.

That's how I'm going to do it. I'm putting about 3 to four pictures on a piece of card stock and putting the names, explanations, and dates on the sides of the pictures.

And yes, there digital so I'm going to look and see.

And no, the pictures are NOT our only evidence. we have copies of our boarding passes from 3 of the six trips. Copies of all our pasport stams. Screenshots of all the itineraries for each trip and my bank statements showing the ticket being paid for.

It is embassy specific and Sweden is different than Lagos and Ghana and most others fit somewhere in between.

What is important more so than the number is what story do the photos tell ?
Each event or trip has different mile stones, meeting, dating, engagement, wedding...how long does the couple know each other 6 months

or 6 years ? Is it a re file due to a previous denial ? The longer the couple is together the more photos are usually submitted from the early

days to current.

I submitted about almost 150 because I made 5 trips, had a 5 year relationship, were denied a K1 and had to re file, Nigerian fiance going through

Cyprus. Sweden can get by with 5 but definitely not Lagos or Accra. It is best to read YOUR embassy reviews and regional threads and research

what they want to see in regards to photos and then fit the number into your personal story.

Are there any specific threads for the Cuidad Juarez consulate in Mexico? I haven't been able to find much information on forums and such for them.

I am in the same boat as you! haha

To be fair though this site did say to use 2 to 5 in a guide on this very site..

"Color Photo's of you and your fiance together. Make sure you write your names, date, and location on the back of every photo. Provide two to five photo's."

So I am a little confused at this point... crossing my fingers that it will be okay though!

I may be in the minority here, but I strongly urge you NOT to send more than 10 photos. The impression and directions we received were that they want a concise package from you. There is a thing as too much. I sent in 10 photos. Two on a sheet of paper that had a caption of the date, time and location underneath each photo. Make sure the pictures are of you and your fiancé. If you have some with your fiancé and their family even better. Also don't write the information on the back of the photos. It won't be seen there, they're only going to scan the front.

(I searched, but couldn't find it, I think the USCIS has something on their website about not sending in more than 10 photos)

I know that the guide on this site specifically tells you that you should write names/dates/locations on the back and I am about 99% sure the USCIS mentioned writing on the back at well. I am a little nervous now since I did what I was told and wrote on the back..

I wrote the dates and locations on the back in pencil, and only sent three photos. No problems.

Leave the amount you have for Juarez. Twenty photos is not a crazy, huge amount. It is a good idea to 'front-load' a little bit. Depending on the CO, it is possible for them to refuse to look at the evidence brought to the interview. Having the evidence already in your file when it is sent to the consulate means they cannot dismiss that evidence. It also could mean that they do not even bother to ask you for additional evidence at the K-1 interview. Bring more anyway, just in case, but they may not ask for it.

So far I have 8 and I'll print more from Christmas as I think we are probably going to sent the application after Christmas so I should be able to include those. I have boarding passes from all 3 trips.

We used RapidVisa to assist us with our petition. They specifically said not to write on the back because the will only scan the front and no one will see the information on the back. I'm sure everyone has there own way of submitting their packet, so do what you think is best.
