I also do have some questions :
1. DO WE HAVE TO HAVE STATEMENTS FROM THE BANK, AT&T,CREDIT CARDS FOR EACH AND EVERY MONTH SINCE OUR MARRIAGE [ I didnt put them all , since it would be like a whole booklet].
2. ALSO I DON'T HAVE MY FIRST ADDRESS'S RENTAL DOCUMENT.... Is this really necessary.(I have the other two..)
3. WE ONLY HAVE DOCUMENTS WITH OUR NAMES JOINTLY , ONLY AFTER I GOT MY GC and JOB,WHICH WAS LIKE AFTER 9 MONTHS SINCE WE GOT MARRIED... SO IS THAT A PROBLEM?
Appreciate your response .Thanks in advance.

28. What you meant by see above??

29. Since the check has both of our name and current address, I thought to keep that as another address proof/joint account proof.

Please let me know whether the list covers everything needed or did we miss anything??

So far so good! What about:

Wills//Medical Power of Attorney documents. You do not need an expensive lawyer for a will. There are plenty off legal forms websites with templates for your state that are cheap. Fill in out and take two friends with you to your bank and have the wills signed and notarized.

Life Insurance policies showing each other as beneficiaries.

Retirement/Annuity/401K showing spouse as beneficiary.

There is some debate about whether to send all bank/credit card/utility bills or quarterly samples spanning your whole marriage. We sent quarterly samples along with a lot of other documents (including what I listed above) in September, so we have a while to wait for our decision.

I might explain why the joint document begin months into your marriage.

Good Luck!

Mahalo/Salamat!

I meant see the reasoning for #16. Does the check for $590 have the same info as the voided check?
