She likes it, today was lesson 3, plus whatever else I taught her.

I read music, play guitar so so, and mediocre piano.

Oh how exciting. My daughter liked piano.

In Arkansas, kids get fiddle and banjo lessons

In Texas, they get clapping and stomping lessons...

Oldest plays violin, and thought himself some guitar. Second boy guitar, he thought about the banjo because he thought it was funny. 3rd boy is the drummer.

I still have another turkey in the fridge. Well, now in freezer.....

Maybe I'll make it for Christmas. Poor turkey...

The turkey will be fine till then :P

My fishing pole came back with a "bird nested" reel...

lmao poor reel!

I wish the kiddo could carry a tune or read music. She enjoys singing, so I tell her to do it even if it's not her forte. Who cares if it makes you happy. She's not trying out for American Idol or something.

I can't read music anymore and I'm not sure that I carry a tune that well... I have been told I do but to be honest because I don't have any formal training i'm not sure I could tell you what note I'm singing. I learned how to play the recorder in grade 3, the ukulele in grade 6, and the flute in grade 7. Of which, currently I can play ONE song on a recorder and that's it. LOL I always wanted to learn the guitar and the piano. Hubs has an electric guitar and a game called rocksmith that teaches you how to play a guitar. I've never touched it tho.

My sister and brother both play piano and read music. My BIL can sing, play guitar, and is a wicked drummer but mostly plays by ear.

I cannot sing, I'm completely tone deaf. Way too much sinus problems for this girl.

I can sorta play the piano. I can read very little music but I can watch the hands of the piano player to learn to play.

So because Nueva York = zero, none of it gets a passing grade. Got it, first try, whee man.

My fishing pole came back with a "bird nested" reel...

Lots of ppl may have that fear but they don't have my brain :P

The little notes are easy to read if they stay put on the page! It becomes very challenging when they move about, something the my brain likes to do!

Well thats pretty cool though!

I think so :)
