In most of the CONUS, ain't no turkeys left on weds afternoon.

Why not get older son to bring one home yesterday?

Hmmmmm. If yer husband gets a frozen turkey, you gots 18 hours for defrost and cooking.

The truck he wants is an S10 zxr. It's his dream truck from high school. His best friend got his dream truck so now hubs wants his. I think 30 is a bit young for a midlife crisis isnt it? At least i wont get traded in for a younger model as thats more effort than I think hes willing to put in.

Making pies!!! Cherry, apple, pumpkin, blueberry and pecan!!!

I am making pie dough currently,

Will be making 3 pumpkin pies. Just finished cooking a pumpkin, gonna blend in blackstrap molasses and cane sugar syrup and honey.

The housemates have 5 turkeys for cajun deep fry, plus about 1000 venison dumplings. Veterans homeless shelter gets the extras this year.

Turkey has been thawing in the fridge for days. It's a 23+lb turkey

There really isn't anywhere near us to go turkey hunting.

Did the hillbilly eat the pies yet?

I have 2 turkeys

1- 23lbs Butterball

1- 15 lb farm slaughtered, from the farmer upstate. He insisted on giving me one.

I gave away the 15 pounder.

There's like a lotta wild turkeys on my property, and surrounding properties.

No one goes turkey hunting up there.

You know, I'm laying in bed with my kindle, one arm behind head, typing one handed....

And I thought, how come no one has a tablet that you can completely operate with one hand? I mean like hold it, and type, with 1 hand....cell phones can do it.

There a 1 gazillion dollar idea....

Hubs wants a truck now. Why do men always need new things?

If he bitches about me getting starbucks EVER in the future I think I may snap. Lol

Always like this. My husband got his birthday Christmas present and it was more than the agreed upon price and then he turns around 2 weeks later and says he wants another gun because the one he just got has ammo that is too expensive for recreational shooting. Seriously? Oh and this was the day of his dentist visit with several thousand dollars worth of work needing to be done. No, just no.
